Aeon Meridian Chocolate Giveaway

by Jody on November 23, 2009

I’m giving another set away today…

It’s a giveaway!

Sponsored by Aeon Meridian. Your #1 source of chocolate novelty products.

The Giveaway:

One of the things that I love about running this site is that I’ve had the opportunity to share some unique gifts with my readers. A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Aeon Meridian about sharing their newest line of chocolate. What is so different about this chocolate is it’s in the shape of bullets and shotgun shells and they come in these beautiful vintage collector tins for any lover of the outdoors.

The fishing vintage collector tin is filled with gummi worms.

And here is a closer look at one…

And would you have a look at the chocolate in the shape of a shotgun shell

I love it! So creative!

And hopefully you didn’t notice one of the missing bullets.

Because … well … I ate it.

But the set I’m giving away has never been opened. So you’re safe.

Contest entry and rules:

Answer the following question:

Have you started your Christmas shopping?

Yes I’m curious.  I need to know I’m not the only one that waits until the last minute.  Or I’ll find out that I’ll the only one that waits until the last minute.

Leave your comment in the comment’s section and please one entry per person.

The winner will be selected randomly to win a set of 4 keepsake vintage tins filled with chocolate and one with gummi worms.

The contest will run from today, November 23, 2009 – Thursday, November 26, 2009. The winner will be announced on Friday, November, 27, 2009. An e-mail notification will be sent and the winner must claim their prize within 48 hours or a new winner will be selected. US residents only.

Have a good day all and good luck!

Nope! Have not started at all.. and that is really bad, cuz I usually do a photo book for both our parents and he had to be finished my now in order to get there in time.. Not even sure what we are doing for the kids yet either.. Just NOT feeling the holiday spirit this year.. maybe after Thanksgiving.. but I am afraid I will have to paint my face green and be forever known as the grinch…

Jules November 23, 2009 at 10:22 am

Only a little bit. We bought some things for the kids this summer. Oh, and I put up a bunch of jams and jellies to give. Other than that, I’m completely unprepared!

Michelle Nason November 23, 2009 at 10:34 am

I would love to be entered in this giveaway. I’m a hunter who definately has a chocolate obsession. LOL Thanks for the great blog.

Oops You can delete this or add it to my other post I just did. Sorry, I forgot to answer the question and I meant to, I haven’t started my shopping as I have been so busy and for the last five years I have been last minute christmas shopping which use to not be me but life changes and so you go with the flow.

I’ve started to bookmark a few products on certain Websites. I usually feel more need to start buying things after Thanksgiving. I also usually find myself picking a day during the week to head to local retail stores in hopes of avoiding the rush.

So Yes I’ve started shopping. No, I haven’t started purchasing. Next week is the time for that.

PS – I love the concept of these chocolates. :-)

Chris November 23, 2009 at 11:53 am

I did just get started over the weekend…1 person down with many to go. I’m sure I will end up dragging it out right up until the last minute like always however.

Lana November 23, 2009 at 11:59 am

No, I am a last minute shopper. I don’t like to be but I am. I am a step ahead of where I usually am this time of year. I’ve at least made a list.

Rick November 23, 2009 at 1:42 pm

I can honestly say I wait until the last minute. I’m usually to busy deer hunting at this time but my wife has picked out a few things though.

Terry Scoville November 23, 2009 at 2:00 pm

I haven’t started yet. Only making notes for myself so I don’t leave anyone out.

Cat November 23, 2009 at 2:25 pm

well, i didn’t win the last one, but this is a question i can easily answer. i have bought a SINGLE thing for holiday gifts. i’ve thought about it, and bought some really cute gift bags for gifts, and i’ve even considered what i’ll do in the way of Christmas cards (but those aren’t even addressed or mailed yet). so, NADA… you aren’t alone ;)

SUZANNE November 23, 2009 at 3:16 pm

I make a majority of my Christmas presents and this year for the first time – ever- I have half my extended family’s gifts finished and ready to mail. I’m a little short of my goal getting it all done by Thanksgiving but this is a 500% improvement over last year! Don’t have time for more – gotta go finish the rest of my projects!

I have to say that I am right there with you. I seem to find lots of gifts for me.. lol, but I know that my wife and daughter come first. They’ll be getting the good stuff this year… and no camo for them. :)

Lynne Feathers November 23, 2009 at 4:58 pm

We celebrate Christmas with my husbands family the day after Thanksgiving, because it’s the only time we can all get together, so I guess I can say legally I am halfway done.

Becky November 23, 2009 at 6:07 pm

Yes! I always get a lot of my presents for Christmas the day after Christmas for the next year! (The day after Thanksgiving is when I get the rest.)

Mandy November 23, 2009 at 8:40 pm

Nope! I am the crazy lady that waits until the very last minute to do all of the shopping. I usually knock down a little old lady or small child in the process of getting everything out to the car in one trip! Tis the season :)

Jeff November 23, 2009 at 9:26 pm

Yes Jody I have started my Christmas shopping, and I am in the process of building a special gift for someone as well.

If I were to win these chocolates I might even forget you called me a big hairy ape last week.

Lorie Love November 23, 2009 at 9:58 pm

Yes I got it started, actually I am almost done just have to buy for the big harry ape (oops I mean the hubby) and our grandson.
The Chocolates I would share with family ( yes it would mean me hiding them from Jeff).

Emily November 23, 2009 at 10:36 pm

Nope. I just asked my husband to give me a list, to which he replied.. “you know what I want.” Um. No, I don’t. Which is why I asked. I need a list first before any shopping will be done. :)

Mel November 23, 2009 at 11:51 pm

Actually, haven’t started yet, but, I have been formulating a few lists in my head. Let’s see I want…………

Well, let’s just start with the great Chocolate’s you have offered!

Jenna Ray November 24, 2009 at 2:34 am

I haven’t started yet! I have 7 birthdays in my family all around Christmas and Thanksgiving, so it gets to be a pain! LMAO!!!!!!!! Plus, guys are too confusing to buy for, my hunter is a pain! But I still love him! I find plenty of what I want, but nothing really for anyone else!!

Kristie November 24, 2009 at 8:47 am

I have started some, but I still have a ways to go! We do an exchange with my husband’s family and we don’t find out who we have until Thanksgiving, so it’s hard to get too much done ahead of time.

Blessed November 24, 2009 at 9:07 am

Yes I’ve started and I’m almost finished… probably will be finished after Friday! I spend too much if I wait until December to start shopping.

annette November 24, 2009 at 11:27 am

not yet, i only have my 12 yr old son to buy for and he is always changing his mind about what he wants so i wait until the last minute to buy

Gayle November 24, 2009 at 11:56 am

Checked out the chocolates how cool of and idea, and very understanding WHY you ate one ;) Have not started shopping this year, Need more insentive to get in the mood, perhaps a foot of snow would help….or for the stores to wait till after Thanksgiving to start the sales pitch.

Liz L. November 24, 2009 at 2:50 pm

Yes I’ve started and not to rub it in but I’m nearly finished! I only have a few more things to get the kids. Now the dear hunter of mine, he’s a little more tricky and may take me a bit longer. Thanks for hosting this great giveaway!

Crystal November 24, 2009 at 3:03 pm

I have already finished Christmas shopping for my little boy. As for the others, such as friends and distant family, that will be done hopefully in the next 2 weeks. Just have to wrap it all now! Thanks.

Chelle November 24, 2009 at 8:14 pm

I didn’t have to start, my hunter did it for me. He now has a bright shiny new Rem 870 Wingmaster with a new choke, stock and pump action thingie, oh yeah–a new scope… He’s done besides the little things for his stocking. My stepson is the only one left (and we always take him out the day or so after Christmas to pick up what he wants)

By the way, the chocolates would be really nice to send to the family back in Ohio (if my hunter wouldn’t get to them first LOL).

Sarah Lynn November 25, 2009 at 7:22 am

Yum!! Those look tasty! I know a certain fellow who would love some chocolate bullets. Yes I have started shopping, last month actually. Still have a couple things to purchase, but I am not a big shopper so I do most of it online so I don’t end up being trampled in a store around this time of the year. Take Care and good luck with your shopping.

Marian November 25, 2009 at 8:36 am

No, I have not started my Christmas shopping yet…need to hurry because my daughter has invited me to come and spend Christmas week with her in Virginia and paying my way! What a Christmas gift! My granddaughter would love the gummi worms….she is 2-1/2 years old. Would love the bullets for myself and hubby and would you believe I collect tins. A very nice give-a-way!

Want to wish you and yours a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving Day! :)

Deb November 25, 2009 at 10:08 am

Genius! These candies/chocolates are SO cute…and the outdoorsmen in my life are SO hard to buy for…great gift idea! As far as the shopping, I’ve picked up Christmas presents only for the folks that are out of town that I have to ship out of state/country. I still have the bulk of it to do. It’s a slim year for us, like so many in our country so I’ll chalk it up as another blessing: less money to spend, less shopping! (I’m obviously not a lover of the mall!)

peach November 27, 2009 at 12:21 am

Those are so cool! How did the chocolate taste? I actually have all my Christmas shopping DONE. I’ve never been big on the after Thanksgiving sales & I’m glad I won’t be doing black friday this year. Thanks so much for the giveaway, keeping my fingers crossed!
