I have a lot to learn about fishing because I’ve never seen a fishing pole this big.

When I saw it I looked at Mark and back at Troy and said, “That is the biggest pole I’ve ever seen”. That opened a can of worms and I will not repeat what those boys said to me nor will I repeat my responses.
I was amused by this fishing pole and I couldn’t help but laugh and then I laughed some more and then I had to take pictures and then laughed a bit more. Sorry Troy, you know I would never laugh at you. But I will laugh at your pole.
I’m sorry for still laughing. I just can’t help myself. I may have to get myself one for next year then maybe those fishermen will notice me.

Funny, I heard lots of jokes like that last weekend. Boys love their rod jokes.
That is quite a pole, though. Does it have any special purpose, besides eliciting flattery?
Yeah…nothing like a good rod or pole joke. They are just too easy.
I am curious what he was using it for though, and no comments on that either:)
My husband has a 12 foot jigging pole he uses for crappie fishing that’s about how he looks holding it!
That is a very long pole. There’s also no way to comment on it that couldn’t be turned into an off color joke or pun of some kind. I’m also curious about for what kind of fishing that sort of pole is used. Does the length make it better for bigger fish or something?
Hopefully we will have an experienced fishermen answer this question?
Impressive pole. I’m about the least experienced fisherperson in the world, but that pole looks like it should be used for shark fishing off the coast of Florida. Or something.
I was informed that this fishing “rod” is used for hard to reach areas.
Ok, I was just informed that doesn’t sound very nice either.
My goodness!
Ok, I want to post a comment, but, I just can’t. I just can’t. You have led me too the water. Ok, I wonder what you need the “reel” for?
