I used to go camping at Lampsom Falls in the adirondaks of NY state, huge waterfall about a mile back from the highway–you have to hike to get back there with your gear and it was gorgeous
The only time I’ve ever been camping was to Turner Falls! My family sure had a blast!
I subscribed via email…Well sadly we usually just go camping in our side yard, my kids are too much of a pain to take anywhere else lol! Well we do have a yearly family reunion which takes place at EastLake Oregon out in the middle of nowhere but there are cabins so does that count? They aren’t deluxe or anything, they barely have electricity and running water!
It’s been a while but Dale Hollow Lake in Celina, Tennessee. It is beautiful there.
I subscribe. I like to hunt at Jonathon Dickinson Park where you can canoe too! The kids have a blast.
My idea of roughing it is black and white TV in the motel room. However, my new Eureka bag will work out great, stretched out on a pillowtop, queen sized mattress at the Holiday Inn Express!!!!
I like camping in at Meramec State Park in Missouri. This new sleeping bag would be great to take there!
I just subscribed to your blog. And then I read some of your old posts and I was laughing so hard my husband came in to see what was so funny….coyote in the freezer!!!……firefly floozies!!!…..rhinoceros dung!!!….need I say more!!
Thanks for making me laugh!~
As to camping, I cannot tell a lie. I wouldn’t camp if I was homeless. But my teenage son is a scout working toward his eagle scout, so I’m sure he would LOVE this bag and get a lot of use out of it.
We camp at Conneaut Lake PA. It’s really lovely, lots of huge old trees, beautiful lake. There is a 100+ years old hotel nearby though, that I would love to stay at just once, instead of camping!
Subscriber – and backyard camping is the best! Close to air conditioning and indoor plumbing!

I like to go camping in the National Parks in VA
Everybody thinks my family is crazy, but we go camping at Myrtle Beach for our summer vacation. We have been doing it for 30 yrs. and I am 43 so I grew up doing it. And yes, we are tent campers. We stay at the State Park Campground which is nice because for the most part you are under trees. They even have cabins that you can sign up for. I would recommend it to anyone!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been camping, and I would love to go again. I prefer places in the mountains with clear views of the stars. Thanks for the great contest!

I’d love to win this so I could go camping for the first time! I live in the country, but have never actually gone camping! I would love to go to this little place behind my house that is absolutely beautiful! The sky is insanely clear, so it would be perfect to see the stars!

I like to camp in Northern Minnesota!
We love to go camping on a little campground on the Hiwassee River. The coldest river but tons of fun with family and friends in July. You can float down with life jackets. Just a all around good little camping weekend.
I subscribed in Google reader. I’ve camped in Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and California. By far California has the best camping adventures. It’s so easy to find State and National parks with any type of camping you might want.
We camp in our backyard with our 3 year old. We pack a tent, cooler, flashlights, sleeping bags & teddy bears. It’s good practice for a real overnighter.
We go camping at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in VA.There a lot of good
activities for the kids. They have swimming, mini golf, wagon rides and volleyball , fishing and playgrounds. Yogi himself will makes appearances.
