Well it’s official. My hunter and I will be headed to Kentucky in October for a week of fishing with our fishing buddies Troy and Denise. We’ve never been fishing in Kentucky in the fall and I have to say I’m very excited. The fall weather, relaxation, fishing and a much needed vacation. I’m also looking forward to the morning sunrises, the many fish, the country ham and the southern barbeque.
My hunter will miss out the first 2 weeks of hunting by choice. We agreed that we both will enjoy a week away. He will have the next 3 months of hunting and as most of you know the first few weeks around here the weather is a bit warm and the deer are a bit slow.
I just remembered, I will also get to drive the boat. You all know how important that is to me.
And I hope Troy brings this…
Because I do like to make fun of it.
And I know Mark is looking forward to her cooking and desserts because, well, that just doesn’t happen in my house…
And I am going to bring this…
Because – for the love of deer, someone will notice me this time.

I’m so glad you’re getting to take your fishing trip. I think you and Mark can both probably use the rest and relaxation.
