It’s that time of year again, one of our local festival kicks off this week. Festival of The Lakes.
Wednesday July 15, 2009 – Sunday July 19, 2009 at Wolf Lake Memorial Park, Hammond, Indiana.
Entertainment, Carnival rides, Food vendors, Pontoon rides, Games, Beer Garden, Kids fishing derby, Fireworks and much more.

Friday: Randy Travis Opening Act: Nicole Jamrose
Saturday: The Black Crowes Opening Act: History’s End
Sunday: Los Lonely Boys Opening Act: Mike Roman & The Tellstars
They have a lot of really good entertainment this year. I will be at Fridays show with Nicole Jamrose and Randy Travis. I won’t be on stage but I’ll be seated somewhere in the beer garden wondering if one of the hottest workers there will serve me beer?
I will also be at the kids fishing derby on Saturday morning and will talk about this more during this week.
