Nancy Jo Adams – Shenanigans from the Field
I know our paths will cross sometime in the future and we will meet in person…however, I do know it is highly unlikely it will be in THE WOODS!
~
That statement was made to me. The Hunter’s Wife. And we all know why. I don’t go in the woods. I’m not sprinkled in tinkle rockin’ a 12 gauge. If I ever got caught in the woods, it would ruin my reputation. I’d have to change names.
My life would be like Nancy Jo’s. My social networking status updates would be like hers:
Gone hunting
Smacking ducks this weekend
Hooked on quack
Ducks in the flyzone
Boom Boom Pow flying feathers
The girl updates hunting terms like nobody’s business. I’d probably say “Tackle It” instead of “Smack It”.
And would you have a look at a few of her Facebook pictures:

And her Facebook friends left these comments:
- Oh WOW
- Heck ya
- Get him
- You go girl
And I have stared at this picture for 10 minutes wondering what in the woods are they talking about.
Probably her husband.
Oh heavens to buck rack…

Holy blast it!

I can only imagine the damage I’d do with that thing. And it wouldn’t just be my darn toe.
Now this. This is what I’m about. I would run through the woods in the dark if I could cuddle her. And kiss her.

And then Nancy Jo would get all outdoorsy on me:
Know it all outdoors girl: If you touch that fawn, Mother doe will abandon her.
Me: What are you the RND or ARN?
Outdoor know it all: It’s the DNR and NRA.
Oh blah blah Nancy Jo. Sprinkle me in tinkle I’m ganna cuddle.
Have a good day all … I need to go feed the buck that followed me home last night.

That buck in the picture is HUGE.
Leave it to Rick to only notice the buck in your entire post.
Love ya, Rick!
Nancy Jo is so doing her job of promoting the outdoors when she gets entire posts written about her by girly girls like you! Thanks for featuring her; she is the REAL deal when it comes to the outdoors and we’re fortunate to have her onboard at The WON. Come to think of it, you’re onboard there, too, right?
