Hunting, Hunting, Hunting, & More Hunting

Here in Indiana, deer hunting season doesn’t start until October 1st, 2008 but if you’re a hunter – hunting never ends.  Its on the mind of a hunter, it’s around the house of a hunter, its on the tv of a hunter, its on the computer of a hunter, its on the body of a hunter.  It just doesn’t go away.  Even every room of my house is hunting. 

• Living room – Deer mount, hunting magazines
• Computer room – Deer trophy award certificates somehow ended up on my corkboard.
• Kitchen – Some kind of bottles of something something deer stuff.
• Back bedroom – Deer hunting clothes.
• Basement – Deer hunting clothes, jackets, mounts, arrows, photos, thingymajiggers.
• Our main bedroom – With the way my hunter sleeps you’d think he was wrestling his prey.  For the love of deer, we have sleeping issues.

My computer room is next to the living room and all afternoon yesterday I’ve heard nothing but hunting shows.   I’ve had to ask my hunter 3 times the same question because he is so engrossed.   He’s in a hypnotic deer state. 

And guess what?  He went squirrel hunting Saturday and guess what he brought home.   Poison Oak!  For the love of *&(*)(*()&.
