Merry Christmas And Zhu Zhu Pet Attacks

by Jody on December 25, 2009

Last night we celebrated Christmas Eve with my family. And it never fails … someone always gets hurt. And it wasn’t my sister wiping out on the hard wood floor this time.

We bought my 3 and 4 year old nieces Zhu Zhu pets for Christmas.  Well it didn’t take long for someone to ignore the Zhu Zhu pet warning to keep away from hair.

Jody to the rescue … and please excuse the bad words.

And me poking my sister on the hand.

And the bad words.

Mark took over while I got the scissors.  Yes, we had to cut her hair.  But I made sure to fluff and mess it up a bit to blend in with the longer strands of hair.

She’ll never know.  It’s not like it got stuck in the front of her hair and we had to cut her bangs.  Like the time I was in high school and I let the same sister-in-law cut my bangs.  For the love of my softball hat, I had 1/4 inch bangs.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and keep those Zhu Zhu pets away from hair.

December 26th 9:00 pm – I was watching my 11 year old niece while her parents were at dinner and……things just went downhill. The Zhu Zhu pet was on her arm, and kept pinching her by running up her arm. It hurt her. Those wheels are wicked! Then, it ran up to her hair and grasped on! The wheels ate and ate at her long blond hair! We couldn’t stop it!!!! Finally, it came to a stopping point because it couldn’t eat any more. We disabled the battery and took the heart apart. The Zhu Zhu pet was finally dead – to the incredible dismay of my niece. We used pliers and scissors to finally release her hair. What a horrlble experience! I don’t know what the Zhu Zhu people could have done to have prevented this, but The trama will continue with others we are sure. Please be aware and be cautious!!

Thank you all and Rick – I think that is a story you should tell us about.

Bitte, It takes no time at all for hair to get caught up in the wheel. And it keeps going and going. lol I hope you didn’t have to cut too much off.

My nieces walked up behind her and set it on her head.

That’s a classic right there.

I always knew those things were evil and out to take over the world… one follicle at a time, apparently.
