This is not a paid review…
I don’t have to tell you how excited my hunter is for deer season. I know you are all feeling the same way. Our season doesn’t start until October 1. So for the months of August and September my husband is in preparation mode.
This year my hunter was looking for a new pair of muck boots. After a bit of research I found Hanks Clothing offered the best price which included free shipping. After I placed the order, we had the boots within a couple of days.
Here is my husband with his new boots.

My husband wears a size 10 1/2 but with the muck boots we ordered a size 11 and it fits perfectly.

Alright so I had to try them on. I don’t go in the woods so there is no reason I’d ever need a pair of muck boots. Or even have to try them on for that matter. But I did and if I had a pair of waders I’d try them on with the boots. Yes I know, waders are for the water but I have a feeling if I did ever have to go in the woods these boots and a pair of waders would provide some major snake protection.
I’d love to give you my honest opinion about the muck boots but that will need to come from my husband once he heads for the woods in the next couple of weeks. After that, we will let you know how well he likes them.
I can say this about my first order with Hanks Clothing:
- Good pricing compared to others I researched.
- Free shipping.
- Fast shipping.
- From my husband – they are very comfortable.
- Wonderful customer service. Which is so important.
Have a wonderful day!

Why don’t you get a little pair of muck boots for yard work? Beats wandering around in the wet grass in the morning. I wear ‘em with my snowflake pajamas when I have to run out to let the dogs out of the kennel in the morning.
And, of course, for hunting. Here’s a perfect pair for you: http://www.hanksclothing.com/muck_boots_scrub_boot_-_plum_vine_-_scb-551v_buy.html

Barb, those purple ones are cute!
My husband grew up on a dairy and swore he’d never wear rubber boots again. Then he was talked into a pair of Mucks. He now wears them on just about every hunting outing. He says its like walking on brand new carpet. He absolutely loves his. It makes me want a pair of my very own.
They look great. I have to say, though, Jody that they look way better on you than they do on your hunter:)
