My Very Own Song from the Hog Hunter of the Hog-Blog

by Jody Narantic on February 23, 2012

So yesterday, when I posted about National Margarita Day, Phillip over at the Hog-Blog left a comment with his own version of the song Margaritaville which referenced my sickness. Not that sickness but my illness. So I responded he should sing it while playing guitar.

Guess what?

Guess what Phillip did?

He videoed the song.

While playing guitar.

And posted it on my Facebook page.

And I could stop laughing.

Probably from the codeine.

Because I would never laugh at Phillip.

He talks serious ammo talk over at the Hog-Blog.

And hunts hogs.

Of the ~ will run you down kind.

And seriously hurt you.

Or if you have one mounted on your wall and you’re vacuuming and bend over and bend back up and knock the hog mount off the wall and it hits you in the head and it’s darn tooth falls out … no matter how much it hurt and how difficult it was to glue the tooth back in, you don’t tell the hog hunter.

Because hog hunters who hunt hogs is serious business.

Except, when they’re singing and playing guitar for a video.

Uh

Huh

Here is the video …

Thank you Phillip! I loved it!

And I will thank you all now for leaving a nice comment on what a great job Phillip did! So leave a comment, please!  Thank you!

I think I need to request a few more songs ~

The Hunter’s Wife got ran over by a trampling hog …
or
The Hunter’s Wife got trampled by a fallen hog mount …

Have a good day!!!

Thanks, Sherri… I think. :-)

I don’t often do command performances, Jody. It was just because you were sick and everyone was picking on you (including me).

So, I lit a Bic and listened to your song, Phil the Hog Hunter Man. Work up a few more numbers and hit the road. But oh yeah, it’s always hog season, isn’t it?

Yeah, Barbara. Can’t go on tour during hunting season, and it’s always hunting season!

This is obviously why I never became a music star.

Yeah. That’s the ticket.
