One of the first things my friend Gretchen said while fishing with us was …
I feel like a princess.
She said this because my husband would quickly take her fish off her hook before she even had a chance. He’d hand her worms, rig up her pole and even put her fish in the basket. So she was feeling special and crappie fishing princess like.
And I gave the look of …
OH HEY NOW WOMAN! Don’t be saying that kind of stuff around here.
Because …
My husband holding my huge red ear …
Me …
My husband cleaning all my fish …
Me …
Hazel the husband cleaning the boat …
And I think that’s my finger telling him he missed a spot.
Me …
Hazel the drink mixer mixing my drinks …
Oh wait that’s Troy.
But even him.
I’m waiting …
Hahahaha
Oh goodness!
I love fishing!
Have a good day all … and no more fishing chicks are allowed on my boat without reviewing the rules.

Ha ha ha…. It’s always good to be the princess! But you hold a total other meaning of Princess….. lol
Not to worry – Now that I am back home.. these IL fishing guys have firmly put me back in my non princess place. Next trip we make together.. you have to teach me how this princess thing works.. these guys around here just are not grasping the concept!
She may have been the princess, but I’m pretty sure you’re the QUEEN.
It is always good to be a princess once in a while. But in my world whoever is holding the fish/ antlers etc for the photo has laid claim to it..
