Peepers or Peekers

by Jody Narantic on December 19, 2007

What is a peeper?  Those of you who peek at my blog and don’t leave a comment.  That is what I call you.

Join in and leave a comment.  Look beyond the first post.  There are lots of interesting things you might be missing out on.  I have funny stories about my hunting husband and great recipes for venison.  Check out my blogroll.  There are lots of great hunting blogs I have listed.  They hold great information for male and female hunters.  You may even find a new friend or two.  You don’t even have to have a blog to leave a comment.

It’s ok to leave a comment and say “Love your blog!” or “Great blog!”.  Don’t be a peeper or a peeker.

Jody,

The standard term for those who visit blogs and don’t leave comments is “lurker”. Peeper sounds a bit funnier though.

Jody December 19, 2007 at 8:57 am

I knew it was lurker but I like to call them peepers.

yo! I know you know that I know that you know I have been peeping.
Always read your blog and want to thank you for coming to visit mine.
Merry Christmas to you and your hunter and I hope he still gets that big one that temporarily got away.

I knew you were a peeper Rex! :)

Thanks for all your nice comments and a Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

I don’t want to be labelled a peeper so I’m leaving a comment. I left a comment on another post as well.

I also wanted to say thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my site the other day. I’m going to add ya to my blogroll.

Thanks Arthur. You are now officially off my peeper list. :)

And I have added you as well. Thanks.

boo! Sometimes the words just don’t come as people lurk- I know thats what happens to me at any rate. :)

But tis the season, and the words come easily now so I hope you and your family have a great Christmas!

Artemis, there are times when the words don’t come easy but I think I am getting better at it.

Thanks for the Christmas wishes and same to yours!!!
