Peachka Knocked Your Deer Over

December 9, 2009

I know my husband isn’t the only one with an imaginary friend.  Even if you’re over the age of 3, it isn’t unusual for some of you to have an imaginary friend.  If strange things happen around your house, like they do ours, you too probably have an imaginary friend.
Our imaginary friend is a female [...]

My 6 Point Whitetail Deer

October 13, 2009

It’s hunting season and hunters are catching deer and taking pictures with their harvest.  So here’s mine…

My harvest:

It was spot and stalk and tackle.
In my backyard.
Before my hunter caught me.
And I didn’t spook him at all.  He just stood there.

Man Rules, Hunting & Backseat Sally

August 12, 2009

My husband seems to think my blog should be exclusive to hunting and fishing. But I can’t talk about hunting and fishing all the time.  Unlike my husband, there are days hunting never even crosses my mind. There are days I hold back from some of my outdoor humor because y’all would think I’d need [...]

For The Love of A Tree Stand Made For Two

July 14, 2009

I’ve often wondered why they would make a tree stand made for two. Is it for the heavier guy or girl so they have more room and stability? Is it for the hunter and his cameraman? Is it for the lovers of the wild to share their love of hunting?
I just can’t [...]
