The Hunter’s Wife Things To Come

by Jody Narantic on November 17, 2008

It was one of those weekends and it has been one of those mornings where nothing I want to write about or nothing in my drafts is pleasing me today.  I may have a silly story in the next day or so but there are other things I wanted to cover this week.

For hunters – I’ll be posting some pictures of a few deer my husband and his brothers harvested this past week and weekend.  Also, seeing that hunting season is well underway I thought it would be the perfect week to talk about a program where hunters can help feed the hungry.

For wives and/or girlfriends of hunters - Look for a new series starting Saturday about what we can do while our hunters are hunting.   I will also have a post this week about something fun you ladies in Michigan can do.

For anyone – A website was brought to my attention over the weekend and I would love to talk about it this holiday season.  It’s what the meaning of Christmas is all about.

There is a recipe up at A Frugal Housewife for Cream of Potato Soup.  It’s a really easy recipe and it’s the perfect time of year for soup. Especially for those who have been out hunting all day. Or those who are always cold and have to sleep with flannel sheets.

Have a great day all!

Jody….thanks for the link on the potato soup recipe.
If I was home sick as a kid my mom always made me potato soup. It brings back special memories….thanks!

I understand – sounds like you’ve still got a full lineup, though! Looking forward to it.
