This post is sponsored by the wonderful folks at: Thompson Targets
I was offered the opportunity to review and giveaway, to one of my readers, a target from Thompson Targets. Since I’m not the one that packs heat around here, my husband and his friend Troy, aka The Rootin’ Tootin’ Fisherman, had a chance to shoot em up. If I didn’t live in the city and I wasn’t afraid to venture out to the woods or hunting properties, I could have been the one smacking targets. But instead, Mark and Troy had a little fun this weekend.

The giveaway:
I am giving away the CS-35 – the CS-35 Centerfire
Description from their website: The CS-35 Centerfire Spinner Target is a popular, two-disc spinning target for “big bore” pistol shooters. It provides the shooter with a choice between the upper 3″ target and lower 5″ target. The CS-35 is designed for use with Centerfire handguns up to .44 Magnum and provides shooting action you can easily see (spins when hit) and hear! The heavy-duty steel frame provides years of trouble free practice and many outings of fun with family and friends. Portable and easy to use spinning targets mean no more knocked down targets to reset. A foot rest makes it easy to push targets into the hardest ground.
To enter please answer the following question:
If you won the CS-35 target, who would you give it to?
Maybe you will keep it for yourself, give it to your kids, or give it to your sister because she’s the one that packs heat in your family. And it is Christmas time and this would make the perfect gift.
The winner will be selected randomly and the contest will run from today, December 14, 2009 – Tuesday, December 15, 2009. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. The winner must claim their prize within 48 hours or a new winner will be selected. US residents only please.
(I can not guarantee that it will be there in time for Christmas. The product will ship directly from Thomspon Targets and we all know that mail carriers are working as fast as they can this time of year.)
Good luck!!!

I would give to my son. He is just starting out shooting. Thanks for the chance and love your blog.
My guys would love this. Im a twitter fan burgmissy
If I win this target I will keep it for me and my wife to use. We both enjoy shooting handguns and this would provide us with a lot of quality time together making lots of loud noise.
If I won this target I would give it to my kids. More directly I would give it to my daughter. She really enjoys firing the .22 rifle. This last year was the first year that she got out to shoot the rifle.
My son’s 4-H club has one already, and the kids love it. So if we won one, we’d probably keep it for the kids to shoot up at camp. Besides my younger son, we’ve got two girls coming up through the shooting ranks, and I love to encourage them in the sport.
I would give it to my son (7). His grandfather bought him a .22 last year for Christmas and it would be a perfect target for him.
If I won the target I would have to honestly say I’d keep it for myself. The reason being that I am the person doing all of the shooting in the family. No one on my wife’s side of the family (that live close to us) shoots anymore.
I would keep it for all my friends and family to enjoy at our place. The .22 target is a blast.
That would be perfect for us and our friends in the marina. We have a small island close by where we spend Sunday afternoons shooting targets and trap.
I would give this to @Bowhuntingu He would just love this! Awsome gift!!
I would definitely give this to my boyfriend of 5 years. This type of thing is right up his alley!

Give it away, really?! I would keep this thing for myself!! Well, because it is Christmastime and all, I might…okay, I would share this with my son and husband
I would like to be able to surprise my grandson with this. He is (16) years old and just developing an interest in hunting etc. He took his first deer this past season.
I would give this to my hubby & my son as a joint gift. Ever since my son was old enough to go hunting with his dad, he and my husband have hunted & fished together. Whenever my husband gets ready to leave the house, our son was right behind him, hot on his tracks!!! Very seldom has my hubby been able to get out without our son. This bond that they made with each other is so STRONG. They are best friends! They would love to share this item, and would be very competitive using the target. I love to read your blog, and thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway. Thanks, Tammy
I would be keeping this for myself and my son. We love to go out and shoot targets and get away from the women of the house (did I say that?). Anyway, we are always Jerry rigging stuff up so we don’t have to reset the targets but it doesn’t last long. This is awesome and probably a lot safer. Thanks for the opportunity to enter my name in your giveaway.
If I were to win the target, I would give it to my husband and son who love to go to the range and shoot!
I plan on buying a .22 rifle for Christmas so I can get my son involved in shooting and that target would definately add to the excitement for him.
