I recently had the opportunity to participate in a podcast for Versus Country with Tred Barta, David Morris and a few other bloggers. I know most of you who enjoy the outdoors are very aware of both gentlemen.
Tred Barta is well known for his motto of “do things the hard way, the Tred Barta way”. Tred is the host of The Best and Worst of Tred Barta on Versus Country. I also enjoyed his Tred being Tred videos. I love his humor. I wonder if he took me fishing if I would have to take my own fish off the hook?
David Morris is one of the host of The Bucks of Tecomate on Versus Country. David Morris is featured in many hunts including those with his family.
This first podcast with Tred Barta runs about 40 minutes. My question is near the end but it is certainly something well worth listening to.
As for the podcast with David Morris, I didn’t get a chance to ask a question but again please take the time to listen. They both were very unique gentlemen with much to say about the outdoors and various hunting topics.

It was an amazing opportunity and I was very honored to be a part of it.

The enthusiasm expressed by Tred and David during the interviews was outstanding. Their shared passion for hunting and the outdoors is truly inspiring, and I believe the podcasts will encourage people to watch the various hunting-related programming on Versus Country. What’s more, the information presented in their responses provides some inspirational and educational insight into various issues surrounding hunting.
As the moderator of the podcasts, I had to force myself to stay focused on the task at hand! Because of their engaging personalities, I found myself getting wrapped up in the dialog and jotting down useful tips!
Also, Jody, I browsed your site. Great job! You present an interesting — and much needed — perspective!
